Does the TripleGuard™ Unit have to completely span across the ductwork it is inserted into?

J Betancourt

No, in fact it is a rare (and unwanted) installation when the TripleGuard™ unit encompasses the entire cross-sectional area of the ductwork. The TripleGuard unit need only see a portion of the air flow because the conditioned air is continually recycled throughout the structure, and eventually all the air passes through the TripleGuard unit for purification. Your installer will avoid installation locations where the TripleGuard unit encompass the entire cross-sectional area of the duct work. If this is not possible, the installer will monitor the air flow at the system registers to verify that the air flow discharge is reasonable (the system pressure drop is not excessive).
