A QwikProducts® TripleGuard™ unit can accommodate up to a 3,000 cubic feet per minute (CFM) 7-ton residential or commercial air handling unit or hot air furnace. As shown in the plot of the raw data from the Independent Certified Laboratory testing (Click here to review the test report), at 800 CFM (representative of a 2-ton AC unit), viruses were reduced to essentially zero (99.9% removed, the limit of the lab’s detection capability) in 90 minutes, and bacteria were reduced to essentially zero (99.9% removed) in 45 minutes. Larger units would have proportionally longer times. For example, a 4-ton unit would take twice as long to treat all the air in the home. Clearly, the TripleGuard quickly removes bacteria and viruses from the home.
If the conditioned structure has multiple air handing units (or hot air furnaces), a TripleGuard system is needed on each independent unit to ensure all the air in the conditioned structure flows thru a TripleGuard unit to be purified.
