1. PREPARATION
DICONNECT THE UNIT'S POWER AT THE BREAKER
Gather Tools:
QwikClean® Foaming Coil Cleaner
QwikClean® Coil Rinse & Protectant
Gloves
Eye Protection
Cleaning Bag
Bucket
Other Necessary Equipment
Prepare Unit:
Remove covers, filters, and condensate pan. Cover exposed wires and motor with a plastic drape and tape down securely. Vaccuum coils.
Install Collection Bag:
Secure the bag around the unit, and attach the drain line to the bucket.
2. Apply Cleaner
Shake and apply QwikClean® Foaming Coil Cleaner evenly to coils
Soak Coils:
Let the cleaner sit for 5-10 minutes
Rinse Coils:
Rinse top to bottom, inside out, with QwikClean® Coil Rinse & Protectant.
Check Drainage:
Ensure runoff drains into the bag/bucket, adjust if needed.
NOTE: Before reassembly thoroughly clean the condensate pan to remove debris and ensure optimal system performance.
3. Dry the unit
Air dry coils and area.
Reassemble Unit:
Remove bag, reinstall filters, covers, and pan.
Restore Power:
Reconnect power, monitor operation, and drainage.
